Social egg and sperm freezing
Frozen eggs and sperm are stored in cryopreservation tanks. The tanks are filled with liquid nitrogen and monitored to maintain a stable temperature of -196°C. Next Fertility Nordic has a successful and lengthy experience of storing gametes, ideal for people who want to postpone family planning, have a predisposition to declining egg reserves, haven't found a suitable partner, or have the desire to have biological offspring at a later age.Intrauterine insemination (IUI)
IUI (intrauterine insemination) is a procedure where the sperm is placed into the uterus during ovulation using a special catheter. We recommend the IUI procedure for women who:- have not been able to conceive naturally with their partner within 1 year
- have a male partner with mild or unexplained infertility
- plan on using donor sperm
In Vitro Fertilization (IVF/ICSI)
In traditional IVF (in vitro fertilisation), the eggs and the sperm are combined in a Petri dish and the dish is cultured in an incubator with conditions similar to those in the human body. After 16–18 hours, the fertilisation of the eggs is assessed and the successfully fertilised eggs are cultured further to allow for the development of embryos. Embryo development is monitored in the laboratory for 2–6 days. The success of IVF varies for everyone and depends on the causes of infertility.Egg & Sperm Donation (own biobank)
Next Fertility Nordic has a large selection of donor eggs and donor sperm to help those considering using donor gametes for their treatment. Thanks to our active donation programme, we have our own egg bank and sperm bank. Next Fertility Nordic has extensive experience in freezing and storing gametes and embryos. In order to preserve the gametes, they are stored in cryopreservation tanks. The tanks are filled with liquid nitrogen to maintain a stable temperature of -196°.Embryo Genetic Testing
Embryo genetic testing allows embryos to be tested for the correct number of chromosomes or a specific genetic disease before being transferred to the uterus. We help families choose a suitable method of embryo genetic testing:- Pre-implantation genetic testing for the number of chromosomes (PGT-A)
- Pre-implantation genetic testing for chromosome structural rearrangements (PGT-SR)
- Pre-implantation embryo testing for monogenic disorders (PGT-M)
IVF experience counselling
We all have periods in life that can be difficult to deal with alone. Health and infertility related issues are very personal and can often be uncomfortable or confusing to discuss with people close to us. If a family member, partner, or friend has not gone through a similar experience in life, he or she may not know how to be supportive. Our experience counsellor is specially trained and can be relatable to a lot of our patients since she has gone through the fertility/IVF process herself.Contact
